Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse

Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse was appointed to serve as President, Chief Executive Officer, and director of the Company effective January 6, 2020. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Trilogy Metals Inc. from January 2012 until December 2019. Between May 1999 and January of 2012, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of NOVAGOLD, Inc, a company that he founded. He served as the Vice President of Exploration for Placer Dome from 1990 to 1997. Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse holds a Candidature degree in Science from Université de Louvain, Belgium and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Arizona. Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse currently serves on the board of directors of Alexco Resource Corp. He served on the board of directors of Sandfire Resources America, Inc. (formerly, Tintina Resources Inc.) from 2008 until 2016. Mr. Van Nieuwenhuyse has over forty years of experience in the minerals mining industry and brings significant industry and technical knowledge to the Company.

Julian Treger
President, CEO, & Director at CoTec

Mr. Julian Treger was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Anglo Pacific Group Plc. During his tenure at Anglo Pacific Group, he executed $450 million of acquisitions, transforming the business from a coal-based royalty business to a battery focused streamer, at the same time increasing income from £3 million in 2013 to close to £62 million in 2021.
Mr. Treger also serves as non-executive chairman of Audley Capital Advisors llp, an investment advisory firm focused on natural resources with a long track record of transforming and unlocking considerable value in the commodities extraction space, including the restructuring and sale of Western Coal Corp, and development of Mantos Copper which recently merged with Capstone Copper Corp. In addition, Mr. Treger holds external non-executive directorships with MagIron llc, and BSL plc. He has a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Oliver Friesen

Oliver Friesen has spent over ten years in the mining and oil & gas sectors working in various technical and corporate roles. Most recently, Oliver was Chief Executive Officer of Gold Lion Resources, a Vancouver-based exploration company focused on gold exploration in Idaho, USA. He holds a BSc (Hons.) degree in geology from University of British Columbia and a M.Sc. degree focusing in sedimentology from Simon Fraser University. He has been actively involved in mineral exploration since 2010 primarily working within Canada, United States, Australia and Africa.
Stephen Rentschler

Steve has over 25 years of institutional investing & shareholder communications experience. He was formerly the senior investment analyst and a founding member of the Chilton Global Natural Resources Fund in New York City, with peak assets of over US$4 billion.

Ms. Adiani is a law graduate from the University of Oxford and the University of Sheffield. She has a Chartered Financial Analyst qualification (Level 4) in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute and also has a Certificate in Mining Studies — Mining & Minerals Engineering from the University of British Columbia (Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering).
