Diisseldorf, August 4, 2025 - Vantage Towers today announces the appointment of Nicolas Mahler, Chief Financial Officer, as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Vantage Towers, effective 1 September 2025. Nicolas succeeds Christian Hillabrant, who will be taking up a new role in the US. In addition to his new responsibilities as interim CEO, Nicolas will continue to serve as CFO until a permanent successor is appointed by the Supervisory Board. A comprehensive CEO search process is already underway.
Christian Hillabrant has led Vantage Towers through significant milestones as CEO, greatly enhancing its market position and helping to build an experienced leadership team that is well positioned to achieve the company's long-term objectives. He will assist Nicolas during the transition to ensure continuity and a smooth handover of responsibilities. Additionally, Jean-Claude Geha, Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director Germany, will join the Management Board during this interim period.
