Superior Mining International Corporation announces drill results from Middelvlei

VANCOUVER, July 10 /CNW/ - Superior Mining International Corporation,
formerly "Superior Mining Corporation" , (the "Company" or "Superior") is
pleased to announce that the Company has received assay results from 16
diamond drill holes undertaken earlier in the year that were designed to test
the potential of the Middelvlei and Ventersdorp Contact Reefs (MVR and VCR
respectively) at its Middelvlei JV Project Area. The project is located on the
West Witwatersrand 6 kilometres to the southwest of Randfontein.
The Middelvlei JV Project is owned and operated by Pamodzi Gold, in which
the Company's South African subsidiary holds a 50% interest.
While the primary focus of Pamodzi Gold is to mine the Black Reef at
Middelvlei, the exploration drilling being reported on is essentially a 'first
pass' program which will be followed by additional drilling aimed towards
providing a more thorough appraisal of the geological continuity of both the
VCR and MVR horizons in the area. In all, 16 drill holes were completed for
774.09m over a strike length of approximately 550m.
It should be noted that while the program overall has confirmed the
existence of both the VCR and MVR reefs throughout the lease area, certain
holes have indicated that neither the VCR nor MVR had developed locally (PGMR
7) or, as was the case of the VCR not being recognizable in the drill core
from hole PGMR 6. The table below lists the results for 11 holes and the other
holes did not intersect any significant values. There is insufficient data to
determine true width at this time.

All drilling was by BQ diamond core drilling and samples for assay were
half-core, cut by diamond rock saw. Sample analysis was carried out by
Performance Laboratories (Pty) Ltd. Gold was determined by 50 g fire assay
with a detection limit of 0.02g/t . Every 15th sample comprised of alternating
'high' and 'low' (ie 5.91g/tAu and 0.58g/tAu respectively) gold value standard
reference material or a blank (footwall quartzite) sample.

The Company is an early stage exploration and near term producer focused
on the mining of gold deposits on the Witwatersrand region of South Africa.
