Notice Regarding Application by a Subsidiary, Shikoku Electric Power T&D, for Adjustment to Revenue Projections Related to Wheeling ChargesShikoku Electric Power Company hereby announces that its subsidiary, Shikoku Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Company, Incorporated (hereinafter referred to as "YONDEN T&D")., has today submitted to the METI minister an application for adjustment to revenue projections related to wheeling charges.
Under the Revenue Cap System, YONDEN T&D prepares in advance a five-year business plan covering the capital expenditures and maintenance/operating costs required to stably supply electricity, and sets wheeling charges based on this plan.
The current application seeks approval for changes to the revenue projections that were approved by the government in 2023, in order to reflect factors such as increases in costs associated with maintaining the construction capacity and supply chain necessary to ensure stable supply of electricity, in line with rising prices, labor costs, and interest rates in wheeling charges.
Main items to be revised
・Increase in revenue projections to reflect factors such as rising prices, labor costs, and interest rates for fiscal years 2026-2027: 37.8 billion yen
For further details of the application, please refer to YONDEN T&D's press release.
Following governmental review and approval of this application as an upper limit on revenues, YONDEN T&D will proceed to revise wheeling charges.
The impact of this matter on our consolidated financial results is currently uncertain; we will continue to examine it carefully, taking into account the progress of the governmental review and other relevant factors.
