TORONTO, Oct. 8 /CNW/ - (RMD: TSXV) Richmond Minerals is very pleased to announce the appointment of Birks Bovaird as President and Director, and Ms. France Crawford as Corporate Secretary and Officer of the company.
Mr. Bovaird has been a financial consultant to both public and private Canadian companies for over thirty years. He presently sits on several company boards including Energy Fuels Inc., a fully integrated uranium and vanadium near term producer, UNOR Inc., a uranium exploration company focused on Western Nunavut and Baffin Island, Hawk Uranium Inc. a Canadian based junior mining company with a portfolio of diversified exploration projects and Cenit Corporation, a holding company. Mr. Bovaird has completed the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate directors, Corporate Governance College and has obtained his ICD.D Director's designation.
Ms. Crawford has been a corporate consultant for 30 years and has acted as Corporate Secretary as well as being responsible for accounting functions and the preparation of financial statements for several public companies.
Richmond Minerals also announces the resignation of Mr. Matthew Goldman as Corporate Secretary and Director. Mr. Goldman will remain a consultant to the company. The Board of Directors thank Mr. Goldman for his efforts on behalf of Richmond and wish him well in his future endeavours.
