Moscow, 23 October 2025 - Nornickel, the world's largest producer of palladium and a major producer of nickel, platinum and copper, announces preliminary consolidated production results for the third quarter and nine months of 2025.

First Vice-President - Chief Operating Officer, Evgeniy Fedorov commented on the production results,

«In 9M 2025, the output of all key metals slightly decreased compared to the same period of last year. The adjustment was driven by a temporary decline in

ore
output owing to the gradual transition to new mining equipment at Polar Division as part of the import substitution program, change in the composition of mined ore - increased share of
disseminated ores
, as well as the need of restocking work-in-progress material.

The carbonyl nickel department in the nickel

electrolysis
shop at Kola Site has been successfully launched after annual schedule capital maintenance, where we began to produce high-added-value products. In addition, following the reconstruction works cobalt metal production facility started to ramp up.

We continue to implement our environmental program at all our operating sites. A new gas cleaning system with high dust collection efficiency was launched in the

refining
shop at Kola Site. This is expected to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by almost 1,000 tons, or just around 10% of 2024 levels. In addition to the environmental benefits, the new cleaning system is expected to yield an additional economic benefit: non-ferrous metals collected during the dust utilization process will be recycled.

We reiterate our previously announced production guidance from own Russian feed for FY2025».
