Nichirei Group Holds Internal Event to Commemorate 80th Anniversary
Nichirei Corporation held an internal event to commemorate its 80th anniversary on
Monday, December 1, 2025. Approximately 800 employees gathered at the venue, and many more participated online, making it a grand event to celebrate the milestone.
Nichirei was founded in 1945 to address the social issue of post-war food shortages. Since then, we have supported safe and secure food in Japan as a pioneer in frozen foods and the largest temperature-controlled logistics network. On December 1st of this year, we celebrated our 80th anniversary.
The event provided a forum for employees to talk and deepen empathy, looking back at the history and reflecting on themselves, with the aim of reconnecting with the company and gaining new insights.
The Nichirei Group will further deepen the connections made through this opportunity and take the first step toward our next challenges.

As we mark this milestone 80th anniversary, we reaffirmed our desire to "create opportunities to get to know our people and our business" by launching an employee-participation project on our internal portal site.
Submission-Based Project
"My Nichirei Story" is a social networking site where employees can share their everyday experiences and thoughts about working at Nichirei, fostering new connections and empathy. Top posts with the highest reactions will be introduced during the event.
"Nichirei Senryu": Employees will post humorous ideas. Participatory project.
"80th Anniversary Logo Grand Prix": All employees will vote for the best anniversary logo design during the event.
"Nichirei Puzzle": Puzzles based on the group's history and unique features.
"Nichirei History Column": Columns looking back on the company's history in a friendly style.
