NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF NESTLE NIGERtA PLCNestlé Nigeria Plc (Nestlé Nigeria or the Company) wishes to notify its shareholders, Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public that Mr. Namit Mishra has been appointed as the Finance and Control Director for East and Southern Africa Region with effect from February 1, 2026. Consequently, he has decided to stap down as a Director on the Board of the Company on January 31, 2026.
The Board notes his contributions to the Company since his appointment as a Director of the Company on August 1, 2023, and accepts his decision to step down while wishing him success in his new role.
The Board has appointed Mr. Josue Mbassi as the Finance and Control Director of the Company effective February 1, 2026.
Josue joined Nestle Cameroon in 2006 and has held various positions across Finance including Internal Auditor, Treasury Specialist and Decision Support befoie moving in 2011 on mission assignment to Nestlé Cdte d'lvoire - Abidjan as Sales Controller. He was the Head of Decision Support of Nestle Nigeria from April 2016 to January 2020.
Ih February 2020, he was promoted to Cluster Controller for the Tropical Cluster, operating in a highly regulated environment. Over three (3) years, he demonstrated strong leadership in driving business transformation and consistently delivered solid performance. He also built impactful relationships with external stakeholders, including tax authoi ities and the Central Bank, successful(y resolving outstanding bill payments. In August 2023, he moved to Ghana as Cluster Controller for the Coastal Cluster, where he played a pivotal role in sustaining business performance and enhancing planning processes in a highly volatile environment. Twelve months later, he transitioned to Regional Decision Support - CWAR. In this role, he participated actively in the successful preparation of the 2025 MBS for CWAR, cooidinated the implementation of Central Financial, and championed the use of Nestlé Finance Analytics (NFA) to simplify and automate reporting processes. His initiatives delivered more user-friendly dashboards, improved work-life balance for his team, and strengthened business performance and planning capabilities. He is passionate about people development and has constantly given his team the opportunity to take on new roles.
Josue holds a Master of Science in Management - Finance and Accounting from the University of Douala, Cameroon.
