    2. Business Segment Results (Construction Business)

      • An increase in maintenance work due to the large-scale (major) periodical repair work in

      Japan, and a steady increase in large-scale construction in Japan and overseas. Revenue and

      profit increased due to an improvement in the balance of completed construction work.

    • In the construction business, domestic maintenance decreased. Sales and profit are expected to decline partly due to increased costs.

    • In the boiler business, we expect an increase in orders. We expect a slight decrease in sales and profit in consideration of cost increases.
