TORONTO, Nov. 19 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX:LUX), a leading provider of electronic displays to the defense and aerospace industries, today provided an update on its recent sales and marketing activities.
"In keeping with our strategy to focus our sales and marketing efforts to the European and North American defence and aerospace industries, we have recently completed a very successful season of trade shows and conferences," said Jean-Louis Larmor, President and CEO of Luxell Inc. "These events, which allowed us to showcase our leading-edge displays and advanced capabilities to our target customers, have enabled us to build our reputation, establish new relationships and grow our pipeline of sales opportunities."
Throughout 2008, Luxell was a featured exhibitor and presenter at a number
of industry events reflecting the Company's market focus, including:
- Aeromart in Montreal, an annual conference that brings original
equipment manufacturers and suppliers in the aerospace industry
together;
- CANSEC in Ottawa, the trade show for the Canadian Association of
Defense and Security Industries;
- Eurosatory in Paris, the world's leading land, air-land and homeland
defense exhibition;
- DEFSEC in Halifax, Atlantic Canada's annual defence trade show;
- Farnborough Air Show in Farnborough, U.K., the largest aerospace
exhibition of its kind in the world;
- National Business Aviation Association in Orlando, Florida, where the
Company exhibited along with the Ontario Aerospace Council and a
number of other member companies from the Ontario aerospace sector;
- A trade mission to Brazil sponsored by the Canadian Embassy and co-
hosted by the Embraer aircraft company;
- Ontario Aerospace Council's trade mission to the Texas aerospace
industry in Dallas/Forth Worth;
- Ontario Aerospace Council's trade mission to Lockheed Martin in New
Jersey to review potential industrial regional benefits and offset
requirements from existing contracts with the Canadian federal
government;
- In the coming weeks, Luxell will attend Aeromart in Paris to deliver
a presentation on its displays to the European trade commissioners.
