CALGARY, June 6 /CNW/ - Jura Energy Corporation (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has closed an equity financing with a syndicate of underwriters led by Paradigm Capital Inc., pursuant to which the underwriters have purchased 26,100,000 common shares of Jura on a bought deal basis, at a price of $1.15 per share for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of approximately $30.0 million (the "Offering"). The net proceeds of the Offering will be used to fund a portion of the Company's 2007 and 2008 capital program.
