Sales of semiconductor packages, modules, and memory remain robust due to the recovery trend in consumer demand for smartphones and PCs, as well as expanding demand related to generative AI. Additionally, fluctuations in noble metal prices (including sharp increases in gold and palladium prices) are expected to improve net sales, operating profit, ordinary profit, and net profit compared to the previous forecast. The above forecasts also incorporate the gain on sales of investment securities resulting from the additional sales of Specified Investment Shares.
