RE: International Energy Insurance Plc announces a delay in submitting its Audited Financial Statement for the year ended December 31, 2024.International Energy Insurance Plc (IEI Plc or the Company) hereby refers to its notice dated March 27, 2025 on the above subject.
The Company wishes to further inform the Nigerian Exchange Limited, its esteemed Shareholders and the General Public of the continued delay in filing its Audited Financial Statement (AFS) for the year ended December 31, 2024 (2024 AFS), within the stipulated period.
Further to the approval of the 2024 AFS by the Board of Directors of the Company on the 17th of June 2025, the 2024 AFS was delivered to the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), the Company's primary regulator, for review and approval.
Upon receipt of NAICOM's approval, the 2024 AFS will be published through the Issuers' Portal of the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
The Company expects to file the outstanding AFS on or before July 31, 2025.
The Company regrets any inconvenience this delay might have caused our esteemed Shareholders and the General Public.
