In compliance of Article 228 of the Consolidated Text of the Securities Market Law, and related provisions, we hereby inform you that in today Group Ezentis, SA ("Ezentis" or the "Company") reports that one of the subsidiaries of Ezentis in Brazil, Ezentis Serviços, Instalação e Engenharia de Comunicações, S.A. (Hereinafter "Ezentis Engenharia") has been awarded by the Brazilian company Claro / Embratel (America Móvil) of a new contract for the preventive, corrective Operation & Maintenance and emergency infrastructure in fixed and mobile plant in the Southern and Northeast regions so as in Sao Paulo state, reaching a total of 10,800 mobile towers. Ezentis Engenharia consolidates its participation on of the major companies for such services, currently maintaining 29,057 mobile sites in Brazil.
The contract has a duration of two years, beginning from next July 1 and the total estimated amount is 85 million Brazilian reais, or approximately 22 million euros.
This award represents the consolidation of Ezentis within these services and strengthens its presence in a strategic area such as Brazil. It also means a progress in the framework of the 2014- 2017 Strategic Plan. Through this awarding, Ezentis has succeeded in contracting, so far in the current year, a total of 169.5 million euros.
