("GlobeeCom") (TSX Venture: GBC) and 9015-1820 QuDebec Inc., a company founded
in 1995 and operating under the trade name INFOTECK INTERNET ("INFOTECK"),
jointly announce that they will not be proceeding with the acquisition offer
("the Protocol") announced on April 1 last, regarding the acquisition by
GlobeeCom of all issued and outstanding shares of Infoteck.
The said Protocol was performable subject to certain conditions, not all
of which have been implemented. More specifically, Management at GlobeeCom and
Infoteck respectively were not able to reach a firm agreement with respect to
a final closing date. Consequently, the decision was made not to proceed with
the protocol.
GlobeeCom is a company specialized in the development of on-line software
solutions. Its mission is to market technological solutions with a view to
optimizing company-wide communications logistics over the IP network.
Established both on North American and European markets, Globeecom is
positioning itself as a strategic partner and services provider.
