Emanuele (Lino) Saputo Joins TransForce Income Fund Board of Trustees

MONTREAL, Feb. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - TransForce Income Fund (TSX: TIF.UN), the leader in the Canadian transportation and logistics industry, today announced that Emanuele (Lino) Saputo has been named to the Fund's Board of Trustees, effective February 27, 2008.

Mr. Saputo is the founder and the chairman of the board of Saputo Inc., the largest dairy processor in Canada. He was a significant investor in TransForce's predecessor company in its earliest days and has contributed to the growth of the Fund. Directly and indirectly, he remains a major investor.
