In addition, the Supervisory Board agreed that CEO Dr. Jochen Weyrauch (59) will assume interim responsibility for finance from October 1 to November 14, 2026. As announced in May, Alexandra Dambeck (55) will join Dürr AG as new CFO as of November 15, 2026. With the appointment of Dr. Lars Friedrich and Dr. Daniel Schmitt, the heads of the Dürr Group's two largest divisions become full members of the Board of Management. Previously, they had already been part of the extended management circle. Dr. Lars Friedrich heads the Automotive division with the painting and final assembly technology for the automotive industry, and has been with Dürr since 2018. Dr. Daniel Schmitt - with Dürr since 2017 - is at the helm of the Woodworking division, which specializes in woodworking technology. The appointment of the two division heads to the Board of Management underlines the growing importance of the division management within the context of the Group Strategy 2030. Gerhard Federer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Dürr AG: "Over the past two years, Dürr has streamlined its structure and realigned its strategic focus. As part of this process, the divisions have been given more responsibility and decision-making powers, enabling them to act with greater agility and more in line with market requirements. The Supervisory Board is supporting this entrepreneurial strengthening of the divisions through these two appointments." Besides being responsible for their respective divisions, the two new members of the Board of Management will also take on Group-wide tasks. Dr. Lars Friedrich will have overall responsibility for research and development, as well as for central procurement. Dr. Daniel Schmitt is taking on Group-wide responsibility for digitalization and artificial intelligence, as well as for service. By consolidating these tasks within the Board of Management, further synergies are to be realized within the Group. Dr. Jochen Weyrauch will assume interim responsibility for finance, thereby bridging the short period between the age-related retirement of CFO Dietmar Heinrich (62) on September 30 and the arrival of his successor in mid-November. Alongside the traditional tasks as CFO, Alexandra Dambeck will also take on responsibility for Investor Relations, IT, Sustainability, and Legal/Governance. Dr. Jochen Weyrauch, whose contract as CEO was extended in March until the end of 2029, is responsible for the Industrial Automation division, as well as for Corporate Development and Corporate Communications. In addition, as Employee Affairs Director, he oversees human resources management. Gerhard Federer on the expanded Board of Management: "The management team combines strategic vision and excellent market knowledge with strong leadership, experience, and expert knowledge. It represents entrepreneurial determination and a will to shape, and thus two key elements of Dürr's corporate culture. Thanks to its broad competence profile, the Board of Management is well positioned to lead Dürr into the future and increase the enterprise value in an environment characterized by transformation and geopolitical uncertainty." The Chairman of the Supervisory Board thanked Dietmar Heinrich, the CFO who is stepping down at the end of September, with the following words: "In times of ongoing political and economic turbulence, Mr. Heinrich carried out his office with great prudence and made a significant contribution to the resilience and financial strength of the Dürr Group. For this, he deserves our sincere thanks."
