CALGARY, April 21 /CNW/ - Coral Sea Petroleums Ltd. is pleased to
announce that a portion of its lease in the Legal Area of Alberta which
expired on January 22, 2005 has been continued by the Province of Alberta for
a one year period to terminate on January 22, 2006. The portion continued
covers all the lands considered to be prospective by Coral Sea. The
continuation will provide Coral Sea with the necessary time to drill a well to
evaluate the prospect. It is anticipated that the well will be drilled before
the end of the third quarter of 2005.
Coral Sea is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSX-V"), trading under
the symbol CPO.
