Kern County Issues a Formal Intent to Award Notification to ComnetiX TORONTO, June 12 /CNW/ - ComnetiX(TM) Inc. (TSX:CXI), a leading provider of biometric and identification solutions, today reported that it has received a formal "Intent to Award" notification from the Kern County Sheriff's Department in California for its county wide fingerprint live scan system. Kern County selected ComnetiX from numerous respondents to a formal request for proposal issued in late summer 2005. While the specific details and scope of the county wide system are still under discussion the expected revenue for this project is expected to exceed several hundred thousand US dollars.
