TORONTO, Jan. 30 /CNW/ - Century II Holdings Inc. confirmed that its operating subsidiary, ICS Courier, received on Saturday, a notice to strike from the CAW bargaining unit in Vancouver. The union will be in a legal position to strike on Tuesday, January 31, 2006. The provision of the notice to strike is in keeping with the protocol the union must follow to protect its rights. The Company and the Union continue to negotiate for the renewal of the collective agreement. The current agreement expired on November 2, 2005.
