WOODBRIDGE, ON, April 18 /CNW/ - BSM Technologies Inc. (TSX - VX: GPS),
(http://www.bsmtechnologies.com ) a leading provider of high security vehicle
tracking, surveillance and fleet management solutions today announced that it
has received an order for phase 2 installation of SentinelFM from a major
construction company based out of Ontario. For security reasons, the identity
of the Unnamed Major Construction Company ("UMCC") will remain confidential.
TOTAL CONTRACT TO BE WORTH IN EXCESS OF $800K
As first reported on January 18, 2006 the company initiated a test on 50
units during the Phase 1 Rollout. Upon a successful realization of pre-
determined performance metrics during this phase, the UMCC has now initiated
an order of an additional 400 plus units of SentinelFM. The company will
receive in excess of $800K over the life of the contract.
Some of the metrics included robust reporting, two way communications
with the onboard intelligent vehicle tracking device and ability to control
security, abuse of vehicle idling duration and other cost and safety
efficiencies. BSM's ability to already deliver on these requirements served as
the basis for its selection by the UMCC.
