WOODBRIDGE, ON, Nov. 16 /CNW/ - BSM Technologies Inc, (GPS: tsx-v)
(http://www.bsmtechnologies.com) a leading provider of GPS-based AVL secure
vehicle and trailer fleet tracking and management solutions, today announced
receipt of an order worth approximately $450,000 from another oil and gas
services company located in Western Canada. For security reasons, the identity
of the Unnamed Oil and Gas Services Company (UNOGS) will remain confidential.
Today's announcement continues BSM's success within the Canadian Oil and Gas
sector, as first announced on September 26, 2006 when BSM announced a 280
unit, $1,000,000 order from a Major Oil and Gas Services Company.

UNOGS UTILIZES SentinelFM TO PROTECT PERSONNEL OUT OF CELLULAR RANGE.

BSM will implement its true dual mode (satellite and cellular) AVL and
Fleet Management applications in one hundred (100) vehicles, which constitute
a part of a much larger fleet that will be dispatched to areas outside of
normal cell coverage. The SentinelFM dual mode IX RTT/Satellite coverage will
provide greater safety and security to their drivers and services staff when
they are out of cellular coverage.

OPPORTUNITY TO EXPAND INTO FURTHER VEHICLES UPON SUCCESSFUL
IMPLEMENTATION

The contract is worth approximately $450,000 and installation is
scheduled for completion prior to the December freeze. Upon the successful
completion of this implementation, other fleet vehicles have been identified
for future implementation of BSM's SentinelFM solution.
"Based on other successful BSM implementations in the Oil and Gas Sector
and the completion of an extensive due diligence, the UNOGS selected BSM's
SentinelFM Secure fleet management solution to provide greater security and
safety to their staff regardless of their location. The selection was also
based on the flexibility of BSM's Technology Development team to understand
the requirements and provide a solution for timely implementation.
By providing output and more accurate vehicle and driver data from their
vehicle's OBD2 port, BSM also offers greater report thoroughness and
capability based on speed and odometer readings and other hard breaking,
acceleration and seatbelt usage. BSM, as part of the ASP application, is
providing reports on idle and stop times, geo zone violations and
notification, resulting in greater insight into driver activities. The BSM
dual mode (cellular and satellite) AVL solution permits oil field workers to
be in constant contact with their dispatcher, emergency team and other
designated staff regardless of their geographic location and working
environment," said Michael Bookbinder, Director of Sales at BSM Wireless.
"Based on new Work-a-lone legislation and the need for work safety
measures, BSM offers oil field workers and drivers with excellent cellular
coverage provided by Telus Mobility that is now augmented by BSM's automatic
switchover to satellite for continuous monitoring, position updates, speeding
violations, mandown, work alone and panic alarm notifications - all
contributing to a safer and more secure working environment," added
Bookbinder.
