Edmond, Oklahoma, June 15, 2006; Newswire - Bedford Energy, Inc. (OTC "BFDE") (Cusip 076110 105) President Harvey Bryant is pleased to announce that his projections for site prep and drilling time were incorrect and that instead of commencement in late July, as promised, their first well of five on the Chandler lease will break ground next week. He commented that with industry-wide equipment shortages creating long backlogs as well as the scarcity of skilled drilling crews, that BFDE has "worked miracles" in putting this project together from start to first well bore within two months of becoming public. This is considered "in-field" drilling since the new wells are surrounded by wells averaging 50-200bbls per day of oil and 200mcf of gas. Geologists consider "in-field" drilling to have a significantly higher chance that production will average to adjacent wells.
