Belgian economy grew by 0.4% in the first quarter of 2025
According to the flash estimate, real GDP, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects, was up 0.4% in the first quarter of 2025 from the previous quarter. The year-on-year growth rate came in at 1.1%.
An initial estimate shows that, in comparison to the previous quarter, value added remained stable in industry. In the construction sector, value added climbed 0.9%. In the services sector, activity increased by 0.4%.
