ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO RULE 706A OF THE LISTING MANUAL
Pursuant to Rule 706A of the Listing Manual of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Stamford Tyres Corporation Limited (the "Company") wishes to announce the following changes to its group of companies that occurred during the second half year ended 30 April 2022:
STRIKING-OFF OF DORMANT AND WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARIES
That applications for the proposed striking-off of Sumo Tires Pte. Ltd. ("Sumo Tires") and Wahsan Trading Pte Ltd ("Wahsan"), both dormant and wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company, were submitted to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority ("ACRA") (the "Strike-Off") and ACRA had on 18 April 2022 approved the Strike-Off of Sumo Tires and Wahsan from the Register of Companies pursuant to Section 344A of the Companies Act 1967.
The Strike-Off is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and consolidated earnings per share of the Group for the current financial year ending 30 April 2022.
None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Strike-Off, save for their interest by virtue of their shareholdings (if any) and/or directorships in the Company and the Group.
