During the period under review, Paiñstan's economy showed sigas of continued recovery, with GDPgmwth momentum carried forward from FY2024, which closed at

2.38o/». Significant improvements in the agricultural sector, along witb better performance from the industrial and services sectors, contributed to thisposKivetten‹L The current account surplus and stability in the exchange mte also led to a sharp

reduction in thepolicy rate by the State Bank of Pakistan, from 22% to ll%, aimed at

supporting business activities and encouraging investment.

in this improving macroeconomic backdmp, Asia Insurance maintained its growth trajectory and delivered astrongoperationalperfonnmce.Thestrategies implemented in the previous year have continued to bear fruit, helping the Company navigate the competitive insurance landscape effectively.

premium and net contribution revenue of Rs. 4g .190 Milrl and Rs. 28.078 Million

Introduction

We have reviewed the accompanying condensed interim siaiemenl of financial position of Asia Insurance Company Limited (the “Company”) as at June 30, 2025 and the related condensed interim statement of profit and loss, condensed interim statement of other comprehensive income, condensed interim statement of changes in equity, and condensed interim statement of casb flows, and notes to and forming part of the condensed interim Cnancial statements for the half year ended (here-in-after referred to as the “interim financial statements”). Management is msponsible for the preparation and presentation of these interim financial statement in accordance with accounting and reporting standards as applicable in Pakistan for interim financial reporting- Our responsibility is to express a conclusion on these interim Cnancial statement based on our review.

Stope ofReview

We conducted our review in accordance with International Standard on Review Engagements 2410, “Review of Interim Financial Information Performed by the Independent Auditor of the Entity”. A review of interim financial statements consists of making inquiries, primarily of persons responsible for financial and accounting matters, and applying analytical and ntherreview procedures. Areview is substantially less in scope than an audit conducted in accordance with International Standards on Auditing and consequently does not enable us to obtain assurance that we would become aware nf all significant matters that might be identified in an audit. Accordingly, we do not express an audit opinion.

Based on our review, nothing has come to otir attention that causes us to believe that the accnmpanying interim financial statements are not prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the accounting and reporting standards as applicable in Pakistan for interim financial reporting.

The Company bas responded through its letter dated July 17, 2020 and vehemently denied and it is submitted that the Company has ncvcr been knowingly involved in processing any such clnims . The allegedly fake/bogus clnims.were referred to the Surveyor:m accordance with law, and the snme were processed after obtaining the survey reports from the Surveyor ldc
