Ascopiave S p A : SALE OF THE 3% PARTICIPATION HELD IN HERA COMM S.P.A. BY ASCOPIAVE

As of today, Ascopiave S.p.A. sold to Hera S.p.A. its 3% participation held in Hera Comm S.p.A. Such a participation was acquired within the partnership between Ascopiave and the Hera S.p.A. Group, as it was finalized on December 19, 2019. Concerning the sale, Hera S.p.A. paid an equivalent of about 55 million Euros to Ascopiave. Such a figure is consistent with the valuation of the company carried out in 2019.

Such a disbursement is not going to change the net financial position of Hera S.p.A.

The Ascopiave Group is one of Italy's leading operators in natural gas distribution, as it manages such a service in 454 Municipalities in Northern Italy through a network of more than 20,000 km serving approximately 1,360,000 users.

The Group is also active in the sectors of renewable energies and integrated water services, while holding several minority stakes in some companies that operate in ICT (Herabit S.p.A.) and in public services (Acinque S.p.A.).

Concerning renewable energies as a sector, Ascopiave currently manages a total of 29 facilities between hydroelectric and wind power plants, with an overall nominal capacity of 84.1 MW.

Since December 12, 2006, Ascopiave has been listed on the Euronext Star Milan segment of the Italian Stock Exchange.
