INTERNATIONAL BRAND LICENSING PLC ANNOUNCES NEW AGREEMENT WITH RAJAN GROUP PLC
International Brand Licensing Plc ("IBL") announces that it has signed an
exclusive three year apparel licensing agreement with the Manchester based
Rajan Group for its Admiral brand in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The
initial launch will be for spring 2007 with minimum guarantees during the term
of £295,000 with further royalties being payable should Rajan's wholesale
revenues exceed the minimum guarantees.
Tony Hutchinson, IBL's Chief Executive, comments: "We are delighted to have
concluded this agreement with the Rajan Group. As a leading supplier to many of
the key UK and Irish retail groups, Rajan has extensive resources and powerful
trade relationships upon which to leverage the Admiral brand.
Rajan will add a new dimension to Admiral in terms of building a strong
presence on the high street in mainstream sports fashion for the first time in
the brand's history."
Admiral is the official kit supplier to the England & Wales and West Indies
Cricket Boards, as well as Leeds United Football Club.
