[00:42] Speaker 1: So I think the [00:46] Speaker 1: best way to proceed is I'd like to kind of set the stage by reviewing what [00:51] Speaker 1: we talked about on the last panel with the same group. [00:54] Speaker 1: This was back at the end of November last year. We all made predictions. I'd like to give a bit of a scorecard on how we did. [01:02] Speaker 1: At the time, the Fed had finally [01:04] Speaker 1: said that they would stop calling inflation transitory. [01:08] Speaker 1: I think that was sort of the big news at the time. The Fed was saying that it would only raise rates by early [01:15] Speaker 1: 2023 or late 2022. [01:18] Speaker 1: 1 week later we were all gathered to discuss our thoughts and we addressed whether we thought precious metals would [01:25] Speaker 1: act as a hedge against sky high inflation. And since then, [01:29] Speaker 1: inflation has in fact [01:30] Speaker 1: continued to soar to keep rising. [01:33] Speaker 1: The Fed could no longer avoid [01:37] Speaker 1: hiking rates.
