Director of Doublestar Resources at the time of its sale to Selkirk Metals in 2007.

Mr. Jarvis has more than 30 years experience in exploration and development of mineral resources, both in oil and gas and metals. After a career in financing exploration projects as a stockbroker, Mr. Jarvis moved to the corporate side of the business in 1996. He joined the Board of Ultra Petroleum, which at the time was a small oil and gas exploration and development company with a large, unconventional gas deposit. As Director responsible for Corporate Finance, he raised the equity capital necessary to prove the concept and to establish enough production to finance further growth with debt. Mr. Jarvis became CEO of Giga Metals Corporations predecessor company in January 2004. During his tenure, the company has drilled off a giant nickel/cobalt deposit, worked out a reliable metallurgical circuit, and published a Preliminary Economic Assessment.

Well, I'm Mark Jarvis, CEO of Giga Metals, Speaker 2: and I have been since 2004. Speaker 2: So this has really been a labor of love. We Speaker 2: have an extremely Speaker 2: large deposit Speaker 2: of nickel and cobalt and sulfides in North Central British Columbia. Speaker 2: We're at around 1000000000 tons Speaker 2: measured plus indicated plus about another billion tons inferred. Speaker 2: It's 1 of these deposits Speaker 2: that Speaker 2: has marginal economics at the low end of the commodity price, but is extremely Speaker 2: leveraged Speaker 2: to a rising commodity price.
