Rob was born and raised in Nevada, and he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He worked as a geologist in mineral exploration before transitioning to NDOM. Rob’s experience at NDOM over the last 11 years is multifaceted and ranges from extensive AML inventory, data management, closure, and remediation work throughout the state to bond pool administration, agency budget, and coordination with the Legislature. He is the chair of the Hardrock AML Committee for the National Association of Abandoned Mine Lands Program, on the Nevada State Environmental Commission, University of Nevada Mackay Advisory Board, and the Nevada State Mapping Advisory Committee.
Amanda Flocchini

Amanda Flocchini is the International Business Development Director for the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development. She has a multifaceted background in project management, government relations, extensive legislative experience, procuring strategic partnerships, business development and market strategy, grassroots organizing for political campaigns, digital and social media communications, and international mission work. Ms. Flocchini graduated from the University of Nevada Reno in 2018 with a bachelor’s in international affairs with an emphasis in Middle Eastern studies, and a minor in political science. She was an active member of the National Political Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and won the Honorable Delegate award for representing Iraq in the Defense Affairs Council at the Northern California Model Arab League Conference in 2018. She recently completed a program through the State International Development Organization and obtained her Level 1 Trade Specialist certification. She has also served on the Government Affairs Committee for the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce since 2021.

Mr. Crowley is the Principal of Crowley & Ferrato Public Affairs, having served in this role since 2014. Prior to Crowley & Ferrato Public Affairs, he was the President of the Nevada Mining Association. He sits on the Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful Board of Directors and the University of Nevada, Mackay School of Earth Sciences and Engineering Advisory Board. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Dr. William Willoughby

Dr. Willoughby is a mining engineer with over 40 years of experience in all aspects of natural resources development. Since 2014, he has been principal and owner of consulting firm Willoughby & Associates, PLLC. Prior to that, he was President and COO of International Enexco Ltd., which was acquired by Denison Mines in 2014. He previously held various positions with Teck (Cominco). Dr. Willoughby has been a Professional Engineer since 1985 and received his Doctorate in Mining Engineering & Metallurgy from the University of Idaho in 1989.
