EDM Resources: Fast-Tracking Canada's Next Zinc Producer
Join Mark Haywood, President & CEO of EDM Resources, as he shares the company's story and how it is fast-tracking to become Canada's next zinc producer. Following the presentation, he will be available for questions.
Mr. Haywood has over 25 years of mining industry experience and holds degrees in both Mining Engineering and Law. Mr. Haywood has held progressive career positions with Anglo Gold Ashanti, Goldfields, IAMGold, Ivanhoe, BHP and Placer Pacific at various open-pit and underground mining operations around the world, including leadership positions of Chief Mining Engineer, Mine Manager, and General Manager. He has also been a consultant mining engineer on the successful feasibility of the large Century Zinc Mine (Zn/Pb/Ag) in Australia. Mr. Haywood has held President & CEO and directorship positions with a number of public (TSX and TSX.V) and private Canadian corporations since 2008.

Speaker 2: Thank you, Kyle. Speaker 2: Thank you, everyone, for joining us on our 1st presentation. This is actually a new presentation, a new corporate presentation that we've prepared Speaker 2: for Speaker 2: July. Speaker 2: So I'm excited to present that to everybody. Speaker 2: Of course, at EDM, we have a near-term Speaker 2: mine Speaker 2: going into production Speaker 2: in a tier 1 jurisdiction, Speaker 2: we hope as early as next year, and we're working towards that. So it's a zinc-lead and gypsum mine in Nova Scotia. Speaker 2: We have a 2021 Speaker 2: pre-feasibility Speaker 2: study with some very robust results. You can see on the screen $174 million Speaker 2: in pre-tax net present value, 69% Speaker 2: of pre-tax IRR Speaker 2: and a payback of just under 1.5 years. Speaker 2: We're also working on an updated pre-feasibility Speaker 2: study to include design improvements Speaker 2: and revised commodity prices, and that's in progress, and we expect to complete that this year.
