Siloni Waraich is a risk management professional, with deep expertise in governance, brand reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory affairs. Her 25+ years of professional work have spanned such diverse subject matters as agriculture, home building, health and safety compliance, mining and mental health services. She currently acts as a strategic advisor to mining companies and not-for-profit associations. Siloni has an M.B.A. specializing in Organizational Effectiveness, has achieved the Business Sustainability Management Certificate from Cambridge University, and is currently a candidate for the Global ESG Competent Boards Designation.

With over 10 years experience in the mining industry, Mr Turner was Formerly Senior Vice President of Precious Metals Equity Research at GMP Securities for seven years following experience in industry as a mining engineer with Wardrop Engineering. Mr. Turner holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University and is a CFA® charterholder

Mr. Espig assumed the role of President and CEO on November 7, 2013 and guided the Company through its restructuring, which included entering the company into CCAA and successfully exiting on November 21, 2014. He is experienced in the analysis of investment opportunities, raising capital, deal sourcing, financial structuring, and corporate turnaround. Mr. Espig has structured over US$2.0 billion in private equity and pre-IPO investment transactions from the principal side and is a pioneer of SPACs, having completed over $1.0 BN in transactions. Mr. Espig served as Vice-President of the Principal Finance and Securitization Group and Asia Special Situations Group for Goldman Sachs Japan. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Espig was Vice-President of Olympus Capital, a New York private equity firm, where he participated in corporate restructurings, investment analysis and financing negotiations for both domestic and international investments. In 1989, Mr. Espig received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and later received his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a Chazen International Scholar. Mr. Espig has been active in the turnaround of mining projects and has functioned in management and director roles for numerous mining companies.

Brett is a high-energy, entrepreneurial natural resources executive with over 34 years of expertise in mining and metals. He has a unique background in mining M&A, mine financing, mine development, and senior level operations experience. He brings publicly listed CEO experience in the mining sector, as well global operational experience – with a geographic focus in the last 15 years in Africa. In the past 35 years of his career in mining and metals, Brett has lived in Canada, United States, England, Chile, Brazil, Russia and in 4 African counties. Brett is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Goldshore Resources (TSXV:GSHR). Previously, Brett has held leadership positions for both listed and private mining / natural resources companies. He has held positions for private equity shareholders in the past including: Chairman and CEO, Banro Corporation Ltd., CEO of Midnight Sun Mining, Chairman and CEO, African Thunder Platinum; CEO Renew Resources; and CEO, BSG Resources and CEO Octéa Limited. With respect to publicly listed companies, Brett was formerly the transition CEO of Roxgold (TSX:ROG) through a successful shareholder proxy battle; was CEO of Avocet Mining plc (LSE & AIM), and was part of the five (5) person start-up of Katanga Mining Limited (TSX:KAT). Brett’s other publicly listed experience was in senior executive positions with Kinross Gold (TSX:K) and Co-Steel Inc. (TSX:CEI). Brett has significant public Board and Board Committee experience both in Canada, United Kingdom, Norway, Frankfurt and Johannesburg. Brett is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors in London; a member of Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists and (O.A.C.E.T.T. - Mechanical Engineering); a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (P.D.A.C), and has been published in the field of strategic mine management. Brett is a graduate of Durham College – Mechanical Engineering, Production Management and is a graduate in Management Engineering of Cornell University – Johnson School of Business, Masters of Business Administration - Magna Cum Laude. He is currently the principal of Richards Enterprises Inc. (CI).
