Independent Director & B2Golds Sr. VP, Exploration at B2Gold Corp
Founder of both B2Gold and BeMetals. Currently serves as Senior Vice President, Exploration at B2Gold (NYSE: BTG, TSX: BTO) and he was previously Vice President, Exploration at Bema Gold. Tom led the exploration teams which have thus far discovered over 32 million ounces of gold, 6 billion pounds of copper and 56 million ounces of silver. His teams’ discoveries include Refugio and Cerro Casale in Chile, as well as Kupol in far-east Russia.

Mr. Iwanaka is a founding member of the BeMetals executive management team. He has over 18 years of investor relations and corporate development experience in the mining industry. Over the course of his career, he has been involved with over 20 mergers, acquisitions and property divestures, and he has played key roles in raising over US$100 million through various equity financings, including one of the first at-the-market (“ATMâ€) financings by a Canadian brokerage firm. Prior to joining BeMetals, Mr. Iwanaka oversaw the marketing programs for a number of mining companies traded in Canada, USA, Germany and the UK.

I'm pleased to introduce our speakers for today, Derek Iwanaka, Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Development Speaker 1: at B Metals, as well as Tom Garrigan, Director and B2 Gold's Senior Vice President of Exploration. Speaker 1: Derek and Tom are going to walk us through our company presentation and after we'll be accepting some questions during our live Q&A. It will be available to watch in the coming days on SIX.com. Speaker 1: With that though Derek I'd like to hand things over to you, get us started. Speaker 2: Okay thanks Cam and thanks to 6 for hosting Speaker 2: today's webcast. Speaker 2: Really the crux of today's Speaker 2: webinar is going to focus on the drill results that just were released yesterday. Speaker 2: I don't know if everybody's had a chance to actually Speaker 2: take a look at the results and digest it, but we have an expert on the line Speaker 2: who is going to be able to run through some of those results. Speaker 2: But I'll just give a little recap on what we're doing here at B-Metals, Speaker 2: a little background Speaker 2: on the project itself, and then Tom will be coming in as Speaker 2: our director and technical Speaker 2: geologist that's going to help us run through the actual drill results and give some context as to why we think this is important.
