About this update from Winbond Electronics Corp.
Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. - Nov. 28, 2025 - Winbond Electronics Corporation (TWSE: 2344) today held a "Sustainable Supply Chain Management Forum" with the theme entitled "Endless Sustainability: Building a New Chapter of Sustainability for Enterprises and Supply Chains with Circular Materials." In the forum, Winbond rallied over 400 suppliers to join forces to make the event a success, demonstrating the company's determination and commitment towards sustainability. This is the sixth large-scale empowerment event to promote a sustainable supply chain. In response to the upcoming "2050 Circular Economy Roadmap" to be released in 2026 by the Taiwan Government, Winbond is cooperating with the Center for Green Economy of Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) and the Business Council for Sustainable Development Taiwan to guide suppliers on circular instructions. Meanwhile, ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC, recognized for its outstanding performance in the green sector, was invited to share its valuable experience in enhancing operational resilience through circular economy practices. Winbond highlighted that even though energy conservation is the top priority in achieving net-zero, it will continue to adopt a diversified strategy to enhance suppliers' sustainable capabilities and drive sustainable development going forward.
