WINNIPEG, Aug. 2 /CNW/ - Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (TSX-V:WEL) ("Wildcat"
or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has staked and recorded an
additional group of strategically located mining claims adjacent to and
northeast of the Company's Foster River Property in northern Saskatchewan.
Wildcat's recent staking includes approximately 3,800 hectares, comprising two
mining claims, increasing the size of the Foster River Property nearly 50% to
11,800 hectares.
The claims encompass the northeast extension of the zinc-lead mineralized
trend along which most of the Foster River Property zinc-lead showings occur.
The new claims cover an additional 13 kilometers of favorable stratigraphy and
contain two known zinc showings - the Robyn Lake showing and the Mackie Lake
showing.
