Lee Jenkins, Director of Operations at Weir, has been appointed Vice President of the World Foundry Organization (WFO), a leading global body dedicated to advancing sustainable and innovative metal casting.
In this role, Lee will be instrumental in driving international knowledge exchange to accelerate advancements in foundry technology, strengthen global collaboration and support the industry's transition toward more efficient and environmentally responsible casting processes. Over his two-year term, he will support the WFO President and serve as the principal contributor to the WFO Technical Forum, helping shape the organisation's technical agenda and global thought leadership.
Lee's appointment builds on several years of active participation within the WFO where he has consistently championed future-focused foundry practices. He has contributed technical expertise to multiple global initiatives, including the WFO Summit, and played a key role in the organisation's sand-reclamation project.
