Vietnam's first oil refinery has officially changed its name to Petrovietnam Refining and Petrochemical Corporation from Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical HOSE:BSR, it said on Monday.The company operates a 130,000-barrel-per-day refinery in central Vietnam.The refinery started commercial operations in 2009 and currently meets around 30% of Vietnam's fuel needs.The company is 92% owned by Vietnam's state energy group Petrovietnam.The company said last month it had secured crude oil for the refinery to operate until early July, amid global supply disruptions caused by the Iran war.
