Executive brings deep movie industry experience honed from 45+ years’ experience that began with early child actor career
Valiant Eagle, Inc. announced today that Chris Ross Leong has joined the company as VP of Production and Director of Production for Valiant Eagle, Inc.
In his new role, Leong will oversee all aspects of Providence Film Groups production to ensure technical, creative and financial excellence across every project. This includes heading up the LA-based studio’s series, MOW, miniseries and pilot productions.
As a seasoned director, writer, producer and editor, Leong brings a rich history in movie making to Providence and Valiant. He has worked around the world directing, writing, producing, shooting, composing and editing both advertising and editorial content and has an extensive IMDb filmography dating back to 1990.
Previously to that, he directed commercials and shot fashion and beauty photos for many international clients in London, Hong Kong and Bahrain. His filmography includes credits for producing, directing, and writing for “The Seedling”, music credits for “Retroactive”, multiple sound department and cinematographer credits, and over 40 editor and supervisory editor credits. In addition, Leong has earned multiple industry accolades including a slew of Best Editor Emmy and People’s Choice Award Nominations for his work on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” (2004, 2005, 2006).
