Dispatch / Credit of 20% Bonus Share Issue
We are pleased to inform you that the 20% Bonus Shares as recommended by the Board of Directors of The United Insurance Company of Pakistan Limited in its meeting held on March 12, 2026 has been dispatched / credited to both physical and CDC shareholders of the Company on March 30, 2026.
The withheld bonus shares shall be dispatched/credited on foremost priority to the shareholders who have deposited their tax amount upon the Company's collection of tax from the shareholders.
The Company shall proceed to dispose of the remaining withheld bonus shares for shareholders who fail to pay the income tax, to recover the income tax amount that the Company paid on the shareholder's behalf, in accordance with Section 236Z of the Ordinance.
