KELOWNA, BC, and EDMONTON, May 27 /CNW/ - TOTAL TELCOM INC. (TSX Venture: TTZ) is pleased to announce today that its wholly owned subsidiary ROM Communication Inc. has been awarded a major contract to provide mobile fleet management services to an International Oilfield and Industrial Service Company with over 1,000 trucks.
ROM will provide its proprietary ROMTraX Satellite equipment, custom software and Internet WEB Site to facilitate a fleet management system capable of GPS tracking, remote data collection and operational monitoring. ROM will be compensated monthly on a per truck basis with revenues anticipated to reach nearly $2 million over the next 36 months. Work is currently underway with field testing of the custom application software while a graduated rollout of equipment commencing early to mid June is expected.
