TOKAI RIKA to Exhibit at the 4th Smart Home Expo in Osaka

TOKAI RIKA CO., LTD. (Head Office: Oguchi-cho,Niwa-gun, Aichi, Japan, President: Hiroyoshi Ninoyu) is to exhibit at the 4th Smart Home Expo, which will take place at the International Exhibition Center Osaka(INTEX Osaka)from Wednesday, September 29 to Friday, October 1, 2021.

Over more than seventy years, TOKAI RIKA has worked to build close relationships with its customers through the development and manufacture of automotive parts, and has nurtured a whole range of technologies to help create a more affluent society. Now, taking on the challenge of applying these technologies to brand new fields, TOKAI RIKA has decided to take part in the Smart Home Expo for the first time.

Our booth will showcase new applications for our digital key technology, focusing on products that aim to enhance the convenience of home services, as well as products that tie in with the home delivery box that we have started developing jointly with Kawamura Electric Inc. (Head Office: Seto City, Aichi, Japan, COO: Kazutaka Mizuno).

Main exhibits

The FREEKEY Lock is a smart phone- operated electronic lock that eliminates the need for physical keys. It works with various doors, including the front doors of homes.

We are also exhibiting home service products (a home delivery box and EV charging equipment etc.) that combines our digital key technology with household equipment developed by Kawamura Electric.
