BURNABY, BC, Jan. 26 /CNW/ - Taiga Building Products Ltd. ("Taiga" or the "Company") advises that at Taiga's request, Cinnamon Jang Willoughby and Company, Chartered Accountants (the "Former Auditors") have resigned as auditors of the Company, effective December 23, 2008.
Taiga's Audit Committee has appointed Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton Labonte, LLP, "DMCL" Chartered Accountants ("Successor Auditors") of Suite 1500, 1140 West Pender Street, Vancouver, British Columbia V6E 4G1 as Auditors for the Company effective January 13, 2009.
There were no reservations in the Former Auditors' reports for the two most recently completed fiscal years or for any period subsequent to the most recently completed period for which an audit report was issued and preceding the date of the Former Auditors' resignation.
There are no reportable events between the Taiga and its Former Auditors.
The resignation of the Former auditors has been approved by the Company's Audit Committee.
The Notice of Change of Auditor, together with the letter from the Former Auditors and the letter from the Successor Auditors have been reviewed and approved by the Company's Audit Committee and are available for public review on SEDAR.
