RICHMOND, BC, July 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX.V - TLG) is pleased to announce results of samples from the drift excavation currently being undertaken on the Rainbow Two and Rainbow Three zones. These chip samples were taken across the entire face of the drift. The adjusted width shows the average of the results over the width of the zone, adjusted to a minimum width of 1.50 m.

Robert Rodger, P.Eng., President of the Company, stated: "The Rainbow Two
zone has demonstrated high values over a considerable length thus far. And,
the Rainbow Three zone is the third zone discovered during the last two years,
confirmation of the potential of Skukum Creek. On completion of the current
program of drift excavation, the Rainbow Two, Rainbow Three and Berg zones
will be systematically sampled across the zone at one metre intervals."
The underground work program is under the supervision of Robert Rodger,
P.Eng., the President of the Company, a qualified person under NI 43-101.
Sampling and assaying procedures are subject to a rigorous QA/QC program,
which includes insertion of standards and blanks for each batch of samples.
All samples were delivered in sealed packages to Eco-Tech Laboratories in
Whitehorse, YT for preparation and shipped by Eco-Tech to their laboratory in
Kamloops, BC analyses. Samples that return values greater than 900 ppb
Gold (Au) by ICP were fire assayed for gold.
