Tagish closes first tranche of non-brokered private placement of units

RICHMOND, BC, July 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX-V: TLG) ("Tagish" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has closed the first tranche of its previously announced non-brokered private placement offering, of an aggregate of 1,250,000 Units a subscription price of C$0.20 per Unit for gross proceeds of C$250,000. Each Unit consists of one common share in the capital of the Company and one non-transferable common share purchase warrant entitling the holder to acquire one additional common share at a price of C$0.30 per share until July 18, 2009. All securities issued are subject to a hold period expiry November 19, 2007 in accordance with the rules and policies of the TSX Venture Exchange and applicable Canadian securities laws.

In connection with the offering the Company paid Canaccord Capital Corporation a finders' fee of $20,000 and granted 100,000 finders' warrants entitling the holder to acquire one additional common share at a price of (Cdn)$0.30 per share until January 18, 2009.

The anticipated proceeds of the offering will be used for working capital purposes.
