RICHMOND, BC, May 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX-V - TLG) is pleased to report that extension of the Ridge Access Drift has demonstrated that the mineralized zone continues to the west past the previous workings. This zone is separated from the Rainbow Two Zone by a narrow rhyolite dyke. So far, the zone has been exposed over a length of 25 metres. The mineralization and other characteristics of this zone are similar to the Rainbow Two zone. Results from sampling of the drift are pending.
Mr. Robert Rodger, President of the Company, stated: "This underground work shows that, as well as the potential for additional mineralization that exists at depth, new mineralized zones are located as work extends laterally into the mountain."
Results from the Mineral Resource estimate being prepared by MineTech.International are expected to be issued soon.
