Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, September 15, 2009 - Rock Tech Resources Inc. (OOTC:RCKTF) (TSXV:RCK) (TSX-Venture: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIA)(the "Company" or "Rock Tech") is pleased to report chemical assay results of surface samples taken from its Kapiwak Lithium Property near James Bay, Quebec. These results are indicating 0.89% to 2.9% Lithium Oxide (Li2O) and anomalous values of other rare earth elements.

Reconnaissance fieldwork was carried out in July 2009 to assess the potential of the property for lithium and other rare earth elements exploration targets, and to develop a phased exploration work program. Rock Tech's Kapiwak lithium property borders to the south of Lithium One Inc.'s (OOTC:LITHF) (TSXV:LI) ("Lithium One") "Cyr Property" (please refer to www.rocktechresources.com to view Rock Tech's James Bay property claims map).

The samples were collected from spodumene pegmatite boulders in the northern part of the Kapiwak property and from the tourmaline and muscovite pegmatite outcrops in the central and southern areas of the property. Highlights of assay results are provided in Tables 1 and 2.

The highest lithium content in spodumene pegmatite boulders was obtained from boulder 74790432 (2.90% Li2O), at the margin of the old exploration pit number 2. This spodumene pegmatite boulder, in which small bluish beryls was observed, also contains 151 parts per million (PPM) Beryllium and 80 PPM Niobium. Anomalous 116-253 PPM Beryllium content was also found in the spodumene pegmatite boulders collected along the James Bay road (samples 74790406 to 74790409).

At the margin of old exploration pit # 2.

Different lithologies were sampled for chemical characterization of the muscovite-tourmaline pegmatite outcrops located in the central and southern parts of the property. Some samples provided anomalous content in rare metals including lithium (please refer to Table 2), supporting a genetic relationship of these pegmatitic intrusives with the spodumene pegmatites of the Cyr-Lithium prospect, together included in the Kapiwak Pluton by Mouhkhsil et al. (2001). In particular, the muscovite appears to be locally slightly enriched in rare metals. For example, a sampled pod of pure muscovite (sample 74790416) provided 6,200 PPM Rubidium, 488 PPM Cesium, 130 PPM Lithium, 142 PPM Niobium and 95 PPM Tantalum.

The fieldwork and sampling was carried out by Sylvain Desbien, Ph.D., P.Geo. of IOS Services Géoscientifiques Inc., Quebec. Afzaal Pirzada, P.Geo., the Company's VP of Exploration also participated in the fieldwork. Samples were analyzed using ICM90A Method. Sample locations were recorded on GPS using UTM 18 NAD 27 datum, and all other field quality control and assurance standards were followed.

Company President and CEO, Paul Chow, commented, "We are extremely pleased with these results as it shows strong lithium exploration potential of our Kapiwak property in James Bay, Quebec. Based on the fieldwork results, we are very encouraged to proceed with developing and implementing a detailed exploration program."

ABOUT ROCK TECH RESOURCES INC.

Rock Tech Resources Inc. (TSX-Venture: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIA) is a Vancouver based publicly traded Canadian company with the objective of creating shareholder value through acquisition and development of mineral exploration projects. The Company's portfolio of properties includes a 100% interest in titanium, iron ore property near Saint-Urbain (Quebec, Canada); a 100% interest in nickel, copper, Platinum Group of Elements, and uranium property in the Sibley Basin (Ontario, Canada); and a 100% interest in Kapiwak lithium exploration property in the James Bay area of Quebec.

ABOUT KAPIWACK LITHIUM PROPERTY

This property consists of 123 map designated claims covering 15,898 acres (6,433 hectares) for a property that is highly prospective for lithium. An initial evaluation of the geological data indicates that Rock Tech's James Bay lithium property is a promising exploration area for spodumene bearing pegmatites - geological conditions favorable for finding lithium, tantalum and other rare earth elements. Significant pegmatite spodumene dykes (Cyr lithium) related to the Kapiwak Pluton is found just north of the property. Parts of Rock Tech's Kapiwak lithium property are accessible by a paved highway from the town of Matagami, Quebec, while other areas are accessible through gravel roads and Hydro Quebec power line tracks.

ABOUT LITHIUM

Lithium, as a metal and its compounds, has a wide range of applications in automobile, heat transfer, glass and ceramics, telecommunications, and medical industries. The market for lithium has grown steadily over the past decade, with the main driver of lithium demand being its use in rechargeable batteries (especially in cellphones and laptop computers). Many industry analysts believe that the anticipated growth in the electric, and electric hybrid vehicle sector (i.e., Toyota Prius, Honda Insight, pending release of Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf), which will require lithium fuel cells, will have a significant impact on the demand for lithium, resulting in strain on current global supply. Lithium is produced from brines and hard rocks (spodumene bearing pegmatites).
