Order intake growth on track

· Issued by Sulzer AG

Flow reported +11.6% in order intake. The Energy business unit delivered strong growth, supported by the confirmation of several large orders and a rising demand for energy infrastructure. The Water & Industry business unit's order intake decreased slightly on the back of a strong Q3 2025, while supply chain disruptions and project execution delays continued due to the unresolved geopolitical situation in the Middle East.

Services reported -0.9% in order intake, remaining broadly stable year-on-year, with an upward trend towards the end of the quarter. The development reflects customers deferring maintenance activities and related orders in a high energy price environment, particularly in the Americas, as well as a strong comparison base from Q3 2025.

Chemtech reported -14.9% in order intake, mainly due to the postponement of large-scale projects and the challenging investment environment. The division shows an upward trajectory, supported by continued growth in the division's core business of separation and purification (MTCS, Mass Transfer Components and Services).

Outlook
The development in Q3 is in line with the projected increase in order intake development and a back-end loaded year. Based on a solid order pipeline and barring unforeseen events, Sulzer confirms its full-year guidance.
