Stellar's 2006 exploration program and drilling to resume on Vassan

MONTREAL, May 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Stellar Pacific Ventures (SPX) announces
his 2006 exploration programs on its properties.

Vassan property:

The company is currently completing an independent resource estimate on
the Hamelin zone of the property, the report is expected by the middle of June
2006.
An initial 2,000 m program is scheduled to start on May 15, 2006. An
additional 4,000 m is also planned before the end of the year. It should be
noted that most of the planned drilling will be aimed at extending current
mineralization which can be traced laterally for 300 m and 400 m vertically
(starting at surface, under overburden). The ore consists of a main east-west
striking, vertically dipping continuous quartz-sulphide tension vein with
related secondary structures. It is open at depth and towards the east. The
company is very pleased with the results of its winter drilling program       
(V2006-02 returned 23,73 g/t Au over 1,94 m, V2006-03, drilled 100 m west of
the previous one, returned 9,76 g/t au over 3,38 m) and intends to follow up
on those results.
The company is negotiating to acquire the remaining 49% interest in this
property.

Opinaca properties:

The company has completed the geophysical program on Alexy Morin North.
Mapping, prospection, geochemistry and drilling is scheduled before end of
2006 on Alexy Morin North and South.

Stellar-Aiguebelle:

During the summer, the company will be very active on this property with
prospection, mapping, geochemistry, drilling will also be performed on this
project before the end of the year.

Stellar Pacific Venture Inc. is a junior mining exploration company

production viable gold deposits.
