LAVAL, May 25 /CNW/ - Stellar Pacific Ventures (SPX) announces that it has mandated the Geologica Group to execute field geological surveys on its Opinaca's properties (Alexy Morin North and South). The Geologica Group is a well known consulting firm in geology and mining development in the Val d'Or area. The company completed the ground magnetic field survey on Alexy Morin North property in April 2006 and intends to continue its exploration effort in the area. The Geologica Group will be carrying out mapping, prospecting and geochem sampling on both Alexy Morin North and South properties. This exploration program is scheduled to start early in June and be completed by the end of the same month. Results shall be available in July. The properties, which consist of 46 map-designated claims totalling 2,395 hectares, are strategically located adjacent to Goldcorp's Eleonore property where several major gold zones have been discovered.
